As late bookers, the owner warmly greeted us upon arrival, even carrying our bags to the room. The comfortable bed and delicious cooked breakfast made for a great overnight stay. The hotel is ideally located in a stunning, quiet valley with breathtaking scenery. Kev, Liz, Gwynnie, and Marley provided an amazing experience, with a varied menu. The free WiFi was excellent, and the hotel even waived the fee for the night we couldn't stay due to a puncture. We will definitely be back, as Wales has so much to offer for bikers.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent value for money. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the countryside. The location was idyllic, with a walking/cycle track right across the road and the Elan Valley visitor centre and reservoirs just a short walk away. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help.
Breakfast choices could be more varied, but overall it was still enjoyable.

The room at Elan Valley Hotel was super cozy and had a homey feel to it. The seating area was perfect for relaxing and watching TV. The ensuite bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. Loved the hairdryer too!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the flat-screen TV with satellite channels. But hey, that's just my preference.

The hotel is perfectly situated near local tourist attractions, allowing for an early dinner before exploring the reservoirs and scenic mountain road. The friendly staff and dog-friendly environment create a welcoming atmosphere. The well-appointed rooms, spotlessly clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds ensure a pleasant stay. The delicious breakfast with plenty of options is a great start to the day. Additionally, the hotel offers good facilities, including a bar with a log fire and a restaurant with excellent food.
The garden is in need of maintenance, with dog feces left unattended on the grass near the seating area outside.

The value for money at this hidden gem was excellent, and the room was comfortable and full of character. The location was perfect for walkers and cyclists, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and share their local knowledge.
The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast is to consider using cloth napkins instead of paper ones. it would be great to see a local condiment supplier for the brown sauce.
